New Built for university class groups

Never miss what your class group said.

Qitt reads your course rep’s WhatsApp announcements and turns them into deadlines, a live timetable and answers you can simply ask for — all in one app.

Free for students. No more scrolling through hundreds of messages.

The problem

Class WhatsApp groups weren’t built for this.

Everything important about your course lives in one busy chat — and it disappears as fast as it arrives.

Deadlines get buried

An assignment posted at 9pm is lost under hundreds of replies by morning. Students find out when it’s too late.

The same question, all day

“When is the test?” “Which hall?” Course reps answer it again and again instead of doing their own work.

Changes nobody sees

A class moved or cancelled an hour before — half the class still walks to the wrong hall.

How it works

Your rep posts once. Qitt does the rest.

No new habits for anyone — the group keeps working exactly as it does today.

Your rep connects the class group

The course rep adds Qitt to the class announcement group and picks it in the app. It takes about a minute.

Qitt reads and files every post

Each announcement is summarised and filed where it belongs, with course and date pulled out automatically.

Assignments Deadlines Events Materials

Students see it — and can ask

Everything shows up on each student’s board, and anyone can ask Qitt a question and get an answer from what the rep actually posted.

Everyone

Timely notifications

New assignments, deadlines, events and cancelled classes reach phones the moment they’re posted.

Why it matters

Good information shouldn’t depend on who scrolled at the right time.

When announcements get lost, students miss work they were ready to do — and reps carry the weight of repeating themselves.

Fewer missed deadlines

Assignments and tests are pulled out of the chatter and put in front of every student, with reminders.

Time back for course reps

Reps post once; Qitt answers the repeat questions, so they can focus on their own studies.

The same information for everyone

Whether you check your phone every minute or once a day, you see exactly what the class was told.

Built for how Nigerian students already work

It starts from the WhatsApp group your class already uses — nothing new for anyone to adopt.

Privacy

Clear about what Qitt reads.

Your class trusts its group chat. Qitt is built to respect that — and the course rep stays in control.

  • Only the group your rep picks. Other groups and private chats are ignored.
  • Used for your class alone — summaries, deadlines and answers to classmates.
  • Qitt never posts in your group. It only reads announcements.
  • The rep is in control: disconnect the group or delete any message at any time.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does Qitt read my private chats?

No. Qitt only reads the one class announcement group your course rep connects. Private chats and other groups are ignored.

Will Qitt post messages in our group?

Never. Qitt only reads announcements so it can organise them for your class.

My class isn’t on Qitt. What can I do?

Ask your course rep to sign up and connect the class group — it takes about a minute and is free.

Can Qitt get an answer wrong?

Qitt answers only from what your rep posted and shows how recent that information is. If it can’t find something, it says so instead of guessing.

Which schools does Qitt support?

Qitt is starting with the University of Port Harcourt, with its departments and courses built in. More universities are coming.

What if WhatsApp isn’t available?

Course reps can post updates directly in the Qitt app, so the class stays informed either way.
